Farm Animal Activity Ideas

Do you ever wonder what you’re supposed to do with an activity?

Well, I’ve got you covered. Your farm animal flashcards come with a whole section filled with activity ideas, plus a bonus activity guide with 15 creative ways to use the cards.

Montessori 3 part cards are designed to be used in traditional Montessori activities at every age — infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age. But you can also use them in sooo many other fun ways. Here are some of my favorites:

01

Montessori activities

Make traditional Montessori matching activities to build associations between words and objects, learn pattern recognition, and build vocabulary.

Sensory bin

Hide the image pieces for your kiddo in a sensory bin to find and and match to the control card.

02

03

Relay race

Little one having trouble sitting to learn? Then get them up and moving with a relay race — running back and forth to match the label card and control card.

Scavenger hunt

Hide the image cards, and have your little one hunt and find them around the room, then match them to the control card.

04

05

Card games

Create a deck of cards by printing multiple sets of cards and play card games like Go Fish, Slap It and Memory.

Independent play

They make a great afterschool activity, or addition to a morning basket.
